On June 30 friends held a Kelli Kar Wash to benefit the Kelli Joy O’Laughlin Memorial fund. The event was planned by Mariah Walsh and Macy Tabachka, all in all over 60 kids signed up for two hours shifts of the four hour kar wash. I believe many stayed the whole time, it was too much fun to leave!
Ledo’s pizza dropped about a half dozen pizzas to feed the hungry helpers.
The kids went door to door collecting prizes for the raffle. There were many prizes.
All in all $2500 was raised for the Kelli O’Laughin Memorial Fund.
Thanks to all for this great event! Also a big thanks to the Pleasantdale Fire Protection District for use of the fire house. This provided a two lane drive through car wash.
