Indian Head Park, Ill. (Sept. 12, 2014) – Giving new meaning to the term “fundraising drive,” the

Kelli Joy O’Laughlin Foundation is auctioning off a 2014 Tesla Model S, actual car pictured

above. The bidding is now open, and will close around the second week of October.

The fullsized, luxury electric Tesla vehicle, valued at nearly $115,000 with less than 1,500 miles,

was bestowed to the foundation in memory of Kelli Joy O’Laughlin. The donor wishes to remain

anonymous.

“If you’ve always wanted to own a Tesla, now’s your chance to bid on one and help out a good

cause benefitting the Kelli Joy O’Laughlin Memorial Fund, which provides scholarships and other

gifts to youths throughout the Chicago area,” says the foundation’s John O’Laughlin, adding,

“We’re grateful for this generous donation, and know that it will spur good things in our

communities – and, because it’s a green, batterypowered car – the environment.”
